CorteX
CorteX detects casting and surface defects directly on the production line using AI-based visual inspection — reducing scrap, rework, and manual inspection dependency.
Real-time defect detection during production
Consistent inspection across shifts
Immediate flagging of casting and surface defects
Designed for pilot deployment in die-casting lines
What is Cortex?
CorteX uses AI-based computer vision to detect casting and surface defects directly on the line. The system analyzes visual inputs in real time and flags defective parts immediately, allowing operators to react before defects scale across production batches.
Detects surface and casting defects in real time
Works directly on live production lines
Reduces dependency on manual visual inspection
Supports more consistent quality control across shifts

How Cortex Works
Data Capture
High-resolution cameras capture images of cast components directly on the production line.
AI Analysis
CorteX analyzes each part using trained AI models to detect visible defects.
Instant Flagging
Defective parts are immediately flagged for operator review or removal.
Continuous Learning
Cortex continuously improves its defect detection accuracy using supervised feedback from production data. The AI adapts to process variations, new casting designs, and changing manufacturing conditions. Over time, this creates a self-optimizing die casting inspection system that strengthens long-term quality performance.
Start With Smarter Defect Detection
If scrap, rework, or inspection consistency is a challenge in your die-casting line, CorteX helps you detect defects where they happen — directly in production.
How long does the pilot take?
The CorteX pilot takes 2–8 weeks. We handle data setup in Week 1, AI training in Weeks 3-5, and deployment by Week 8
Is an NDA possible?
Absolutely. We prioritize data security and sign standard NDAs before any production data is exchanged
What data is needed to start?
To train the CorteX AI for your specific production line, we typically require 100–500 sample images of both "Good" (Pass) and "Defective" (Fail) parts. Our team will guide you through the secure upload process during Week 1
What hardware is needed?
CorteX is flexible. It can integrate with your existing line-side cameras or we can provide a custom sensor kit. Hardware compatibility is assessed during the initial feasibility check
